Finding common grounds - A Speech

I haven't seen the world, but I follow news, I watch foreign films and I am amused by the sheer stupidity happening around, the lack of aesthetics in our land and I wonder am I the only person who watch news and foreign films? The state of affairs of our homeland is that pathetic? I know that my understandings are naive backed up by petty inferences and premonitions. But I am convinced and concerned that mostly of the people who say that they are concerned about the common man doesn't care a dime or maybe they care but lack the understanding, insight, aptitude, knowledge and wisdom to act on it? The idea I am sharing is not to be generally understood and you might hear its echoes in different other forms from different arenas which may or might not be inclined to me; but the idea that my dream is taking momentum enthralls me.
I am now being mostly concerned about the political class of the country; the sheer lack of a strong fundamental philosophical background in politics astonishes me and I question; what conditions of the downtrodden has been uplifted drastically from the time of Independance? Does people enjoy better holistic living conditions? Does people have good amenities? Do they dwell on good and uplifting thoughts? Has the commoner been imbibed with the capacity to indulge in intelligence or wisdom of any kind? And the biggest thing I have noticed is that does any politician with genuine caliber in the history of Independant India had the determination and will to solve these adverse issues faced by our nation? I wish if only we had taken half the effort of achieving our Independence in these activities of building a strong nation with more foresight would our nation had been developed by now. And I am assuring you citizens that this nation is not in its path to glory or development. The false dreams, aspirations and efforts of our ruling class and administrators are cheap, not fundamental, purely imagenery, totally uncreative and this current model would fail in the test of time.

So where does our fault lie? I would say we in our core, are wrongly inspired; imagine the backbone of our freedom ,our constitution is Dalit inspired; how pity. Our inspirations hugely rely on western ideologies and thoughts. Its about time my fellow citizens where we proclaim a second Independance struggle to free ourselves from this mental slavery imposed by a westernised system and its thoughts and by products. We have our Ideologies which are masters of this universe to lean on; On Vedas, backed up by Brahmanism; on Budhism and Jainism backed up by Non-violence and we have even to learn from our guests the Christians, Muslims, Jews and Parsis & also from modern ideologies which rely all its importance on humans and humans only, on liberty, on freedom, but never forgetting our responsibilities and understanding that true wisdom and happiness lie in protecting & nurturing the resources of the nature. It should be the vow of every human being that they would abide in protection of nature and a personal tapas in maximum non-violence and not using products or in any way adhering to any practices which harms nature. Its time that we try thinking about slow living and try alternative transportations like in our old days and end this havoc of human greed and never ending demand, envy and wants. My dream dear citizens is not of this state but I am not saying it couldn't be and many people know better of my dreams than I know about it, its time they start on.
I have seen people setting examples, why not we give up running from the rest of the crowd and start setting up an example for the world to follow? Maybe breaking all the modern and applied concepts of everything we know as of now?
And I am also sad in announcing that of all the people 2 wont understand what I am trying to say...One is Ramana Maharshi and the other is Sri EMS Nampoothiripad...
